How to Copy a Microsite

This article is still a work in progress!

Boingnet now makes it easy to copy and reuse microsites for your new campaigns.  Our microsite copy feature creates a new microsite with the original microsite’s templates, friendly URLs and meta information.  If your original microsite contains a form that updates a list, you will need to create a new form to point to your campaign’s new list and drop that in your template  – please visit Create a List Web Form  for more details.

To Copy a Microsite:

From the main navigation bar, click Build and then select Microsites:

microsite1

You’ll navigate to your Microsites Page. Find the microsite you’d like to copy and click the Action button to the right, then select Copy.  In the example below, we’re going to copy the Merchants Microsite:

microsite2

This will create a new microsite using the original name with ‘copy’ added at the end, in this case – Merchants Microsite Copy:

microsite3

If you edit the new microsite, you’ll see that all the pages have been copied:

microsite5
